## The right access, for every seat

Structure your workspace as real teams — owner, admins, managers, salespeople, viewers. Administration flows strictly downward: nobody can edit their boss, and everyone sees exactly what their role should see.

## What you get

- **Roles that match reality.** Owner, admin, manager, marketer, salesperson, viewer — each with the visibility and powers that seat needs.
- **Downward-only administration.** You can manage people below you in the hierarchy — never your equals, never your boss. The server enforces it, not just the buttons.
- **Teams with managers.** Group salespeople under their managers; add a member from a team card and the right team and role are pre-selected.
- **Reps see their world.** Salespeople work their own leads and conversations; managers see their team; owners see everything.
- **Grant only what you hold.** When inviting or promoting, you can grant only roles below your own — an admin cannot mint another admin.
- **Sensitive actions audited.** Role changes, removals and permission-relevant actions leave an audit trail with who did what.

## How it works

1. **Build your teams.** Create teams, assign managers, place salespeople under them.
2. **Invite with a role.** Each invite carries a role — and the system offers only roles you may grant.
3. **Everyone works their scope.** The pipeline, inbox and reports each person sees match their seat automatically.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can an admin edit the owner?

No. Administration is strictly downward — you can manage only members below your own rank, and the server enforces it even if a request is forged.

### What can a viewer do?

View. Viewers are free seats for stakeholders who need visibility — reports and records without the ability to change or message anything.

### Can managers see each other’s teams?

A manager manages their own team. Cross-team visibility belongs to admins and the owner.

### Are role changes tracked?

Yes — role and membership changes are audited with the actor and time, so accountability survives staff changes.
